Microsoft Word 2010 - Issues when  viewing documents
Are you and your co-worker using the same edition of office? The reason for getting the error mentioned by you is due to compatibility issues. You can try sending the file saved in pdf file format or use the same office edition on both side.

Please see this technet link on Restrict or permit formatting changes. I hope this will help.

I am sorry but this won't help much since our document can not be restricted since we both make changes to the document. All I am worried about is how could it be different when both of us have same edition of office and when we have same or default settings.

Adding tot this, now I have 2 PCs one is local ( INDIA ) another one is remote ( USA ). Now I have the document open from same path location in PC, I notice the below changes

(1) The document opened in local  shows a blank page but not in remote pc
(2) The document opened in local doesn't shows a horizontal line in footer section but remote pc is showing
(3) Document has some tables but shows different font and size in both of docs

Dear All,

I have a document consist of a couple of pages. When I view the document in my PC everything looks good.
I have one of my co-worker ( located in other country ). When he tried to view the same document, he is having issues with viewing. The issues are, sub heading is messed up, content which is supposed to be in next page but comes to before page, blank page, font size difference, spacing is off, font is off.
we checked settings and they are same in both PC. we did a root cause but unable to figure out what is the issue.
I just wondered what would be possible errors for this and I hope you would be able to help with this

Thank you

Raj
